Recent Fell Running Results   (updated 20/11/16)

That’s probably it now for 2016.   On my last race, Roaches, I beat the excellent Keith Holmes, which is all a man can ask for.   Meanwhile my ankle tendon has gone all grumpy again, so I’m hanging fell shoes up for the winter until Kinder Trial,  2017.

13 Nov 2016.  Roaches.   58/214.   My favourite race.

6 Nov 2016.  Peak Raid Mountain Marathon.   73/115.   I got cold and wimped out.

29 Oct 2016.  Grin and Bear It.  40/122.   I got sucked into a deep clough and barely got out.

Ankle tendon injury resuming.

1 Oct 2016.  Saddleworth Edges.   23/100.

18 Sept 2016.  Utterly Butterly.  22/88

11 Sept 2016   Lake District Mountain Trial.  Upon arriving I bumped into the 60+ year old Wendy Dodds and rudely, sarcastically commented my sole objective for the day was to ensure she didn’t beat me.   I subsequently floundered for 7 hours 55 minutes around the 20 mile monster nav course, came a poor 46/51 and saw that the Wendy WV60 machine  was indeed back 15 minutes before me.

4 Sept 2016  Exterminator  37/155

2 Sept 2016   Great Longstone    40/163

28 Aug 2016   Crowden Horseshoe   23/84

Adding up Borrowdale, Steel Fell, Turner Landscape and Sedbergh Hills I raced over 8 days some 42 miles and 16000 feet of ascent; possibly the most raced out person that week.

14 Aug 2016   Sedbergh Hills   53/96

13 Aug 2016   Turner Landscape    18/61.

10 Aug 2016  Steel Fell     37/76

6 Aug 2016      Borrowdale   219/384

30 July 2016   Turnslack.   25/87

29 June 2016.  Hope Wakes 73/235

26 June 2016.  Kinder Trog 29/134
